Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog site. This is my first photo blog featuring Louis and Ellain's prenuptial or wedding engagement photos. Pictures were taken at Austin Texas, which is 6 hours away from Lubbock where I live. It was a gloomy weather and a bit of chance of rain on that weekend. Presented by this current weather, controlling ambient light and using my off camera flash became a challenge for me to further develop my skills in photography. I am also interested in making wedding trailers so I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to try out some equipments. Armed with a glide cam I started shooting videos every after photo shoots as we went around the Capitol, and we even went inside to take indoor shots. My first challenge with a camera stabilizer was to be able to balance the weight to avoid the camera from bouncing or swaying too much. Which you will notice on the first few clips but, I was able to balance it as we went along. On day two we went up to a cliff with the beautiful bridge on the background. We took some shots in there and just when they we're about to get back down to change to their second set of clothing, rain started pouring and so we just left.
The videos were edited through Adobe Premiere Pro with Red Giant Software Plug in. Check out the video on the link below. When I started editing pictures I want them to be unique and not to look like common point and shoot pictures. I want the picture to look like its from a magazine, having a different color, texture and perspective. This kind of technique was inspired by a photographer from the Philippines his photography business is called Metro Photo. Hands down to that man, I love his techniques. His photos inspired me to do better. Thanks to Louis and Ellain for their time and patience. They are such a great couple! I wish you both all the best in life.
